Terms and Conditions

Effective date: 20 June 2026 · Last updated: 20 June 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Aristocrats Jewels Academy platform, accessible at aristocrats.ng (the “Platform”). Because most of our students are under 18, parents and guardians must read and accept these terms on a child’s behalf. By creating an account, enrolling a student, or using any part of the Platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1.About these terms

The Platform is operated by Aristocrats Jewels Academy (“we”, “us”, “the Academy”). In these terms, “you” means the person using the Platform: a parent or guardian, a student, a teacher, or an administrator. Where a student is under 18, references to your agreement and obligations apply to the parent or guardian who registered them.

These terms work alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data. By accepting these terms you also accept that policy.

2.Eligibility and accounts

To register a student account for a child under 18, you must be the child’s parent or legal guardian, or an adult authorised by the school to act on the child’s behalf. Adults registering for their own account must be at least 18.

  • You are responsible for keeping login details confidential and for all activity under accounts you control.
  • You must give accurate information at registration and keep it current.
  • Tell us immediately if you believe an account has been accessed without permission.

3.Parental consent for minors

You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, after which we will deactivate the student’s account. Withdrawing consent does not affect fees already due or the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

4.Enrollment and student records

When you enroll a student, we create and maintain records that may include the student’s name, class, attendance, assessment results, and progress reports. These records are used to deliver and administer the academy’s programmes.

  • You may request access to a student’s records by contacting us.
  • We retain records for as long as the student is enrolled, and afterwards only as required by law or legitimate academic purposes.
  • Enrollment may be carried out individually or, for partner schools, through bulk upload of student details by an authorised administrator who confirms they have the right to share that information.

5.Online classes

The Platform delivers live and recorded video classes. By joining a class you agree to the following.

  • Classes may be recorded for educational and quality purposes. Where a class is recorded, participants will be informed, and recordings are handled in line with our Privacy Policy.
  • You must not record, screen-capture, or redistribute any class without our written permission.
  • We aim for reliable access but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service; classes may occasionally be rescheduled due to technical or operational issues.
  • Students must behave respectfully toward teachers and classmates during live sessions.

6.Quizzes and assessments

The Platform includes quizzes and assessments used to measure learning. Students are expected to complete these honestly and independently unless a teacher states otherwise. We may invalidate results where we reasonably believe a student has cheated or misused the assessment system. Scores and feedback form part of the student’s records.

7.Fees and payments

Certain features, classes, or programmes require payment of fees, shown in Nigerian Naira (₦) unless stated otherwise.

  • Fees are due as set out at the point of enrollment or subscription. Access to paid features may depend on payment being received.
  • Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store full card details on our servers.
  • Refunds, where offered, follow the refund terms shown for each programme. Unless stated otherwise, fees for classes already delivered are non-refundable.
  • You are responsible for any bank or transaction charges applied by your provider.

8.Acceptable use

When using the Platform you agree not to:

  • Share your account or let anyone else use it improperly.
  • Upload unlawful, harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, other accounts, or our systems.
  • Interfere with the Platform’s operation, security, or other users’ experience.
  • Use the Platform for anything other than legitimate educational purposes.

9.Intellectual property

All course materials, videos, quizzes, branding, and software on the Platform belong to the Academy or its licensors and are protected by law. You may use them only for the student’s personal learning. You may not copy, sell, publish, or distribute them without our written permission. Any content you submit remains yours, but you grant us a licence to use it as needed to provide the service.

10.Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account if these terms are breached, if fees remain unpaid, or where required to protect students, staff, or the Platform. You may close an account at any time by contacting us. On closure we handle any remaining data in line with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

11.Limitation of liability

We provide the Platform with reasonable care and skill but offer it “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for interruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

12.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Where changes are significant, we will give notice through the Platform or by email. Continuing to use the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

13.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts. We will always try to resolve concerns informally first, so please contact us before taking any formal step.
